At Ecosystem Research Centre I am responsible for database administration, for I am a computer scientist. We are developing our Ecological Informationsystem KERIS with a Working Group Informationsystems.
Before I took database administration, I worked some years as network- and system administrator. Till now I am interested in advances and new development concerning that matter.

I am working sometimes as translator and I am writing articles for the computer magazin c't and the online magazine Spiegel online. Occasionally I am giving support in installing and maintaining computer systems (network support, email systems, training, PC service, ...).
